According to the ADP National Franchise Report, last month franchising added more than 19,400 jobs, a number that will swell as a result of new entrepreneurs set to open small businesses after the International Franchise Expo.
The International Franchise Expo will kick off with a press conference and a ribbon cutting ceremony on at 9:45 a.m. on June 16 at the north concourse level of the Javits Center. During this time, representatives from the International Franchise Association, City Council, the Small Business Committee, and Marcus Lemonis will welcome guests to New York and the wide world of franchising. Immediately following the ribbon cutting, doors will open to thousands of entrepreneurs ready to get on the fast track to owning a small business by meeting face-to-face with high-level franchisor executives. Over the years, the expo has proven to be a life-changing event for a number of prospective investors.
