BACKGROUNDThe Malaysian Franchise Association was formed in 1994 to support the implementation of the Government program.
GOVERNMENT SUPPORTIn 2009, the Ministry’s roles and functions were expanded to cover the Franchise and Co-operative Sectors.
INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITIONThe only Association in Malaysia recognized by World Franchise Council (WFC) & Asian Pacific Franchise Confederation (APFC).

Meanwhile PNS is a agency under KPDNKK that responsible in the development of franchise agencies and financing for franchising. Lastly MFA is a non-government organisation that promote franchising and gather the information about franchising in Malaysia
