2. HRD Corp Claim
Eligible participants may apply for the programme through the relevant HRD Corp claim mechanism, subject to their company’s eligibility, available levy balance and the prevailing terms and requirements of HRD Corp.
Participants and/or their sponsoring companies are responsible for submitting the application and ensuring that all necessary approvals and supporting documents are completed within the required timeframe.
Where applicable, MFA may provide programme information or supporting documents required for the HRD Corp application.
HRDC Application Fee: RM 500 (additional for claim processing)
Total (with HRDC): RM 1,499 (RM999 programme fee + RM500 HRDC application fee)
Note: The HRDC application fee covers administrative costs for submitting your claim. It is standard for professional courses in Malaysia.
Important: Approval of any HRD Corp claim is subject to HRD Corp’s own terms and approval process. MFA shall not be held responsible for claims that are rejected, delayed or unsuccessful due to matters relating to the participant, employer or sponsoring company.
3. Payment by Invoice
If payment is required to be made via an official invoice, bank transfer or company payment process, participants are required to inform MFA in advance before making payment arrangements.
MFA will provide the necessary payment instructions or official invoice, where applicable.
Please do not make payment through the online payment link first if your company requires an official invoice, as this may create duplication in the payment process.
When requesting an invoice, participants or sponsoring companies may be required to provide:
• Company name
• Company billing address
• Company registration number
• Contact person and contact details
• Participant’s name
• Programme name
• Any other billing or reference information required by the company
Payment Terms
1. Full payment must be made to confirm and secure the participant’s registration, unless an alternative payment arrangement has been approved in writing by MFA.
2. For HRD Corp claim participants, registration is subject to the relevant claim and payment arrangements being successfully completed in accordance with the requirements communicated by MFA and/or HRD Corp.
3. For invoice-based or corporate payments, participants or sponsoring companies must inform MFA in advance. MFA reserves the right to release an unpaid registration if payment or confirmation is not received by the required deadline.
4. Registration is subject to availability. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to confirmation of registration and payment arrangements.
5. The programme fee is applicable to one registered participant and may not be shared between participants.
6. The 10% MFA Member discount is subject to verification of the participant’s eligibility and the organisation’s active MFA membership status.
7. Any bank, payment gateway or third-party transaction charges incurred in connection with payment or refund processing may be borne by the participant or sponsoring company, where applicable.
8. Participants are advised to retain proof of payment and provide it to MFA upon request.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. However, training arrangements, venue commitments, materials and programme resources are planned in advance. Therefore, participants who have registered and made payment but subsequently wish to withdraw from the programme may be eligible for a refund based on the following schedule:
Written Cancellation Received Before the Programme Refund Amount
More than 30 calendar days before the programme 90% refund
15–30 calendar days before the programme 50% refund
8–14 calendar days before the programme 30% refund
7 calendar days or less before the programme No refund
No-show / non-attendance No refund
After the programme has commenced No refund
The cancellation date will be determined based on the date MFA receives the written cancellation request.
Refund requests will only be processed after MFA receives and acknowledges the written cancellation request.
Where applicable, any payment gateway, bank or third-party transaction charges incurred in processing the original payment or refund may be deducted from the refundable amount.
Unpaid Registrations
Registration for the programme constitutes a commitment to attend and to pay the programme fee. Participants who have registered but have not yet made payment, and who subsequently wish to withdraw, must notify MFA in writing.
The participant and/or sponsoring company remains liable to pay the applicable cancellation charge, calculated on the full programme fee based on the date MFA receives the written cancellation request, as follows:
• More than 30 calendar days before the programme: 10% of the programme fee
• 15–30 calendar days before the programme: 50% of the programme fee
• 8–14 calendar days before the programme: 70% of the programme fee
• 7 calendar days or less before the programme, no-show / non-attendance, or after the programme has commenced: 100% of the programme fee
MFA’s release of an unpaid registration under the Payment Terms does not waive this liability.
Participant Replacement
If a registered participant is unable to attend, the participant or sponsoring company may nominate a replacement participant at no additional charge, subject to written notification and approval by MFA before the programme commences.
The replacement participant may be required to provide updated registration details and fulfil any applicable programme requirements.
Transfer to Future Programme
A participant may request to transfer their registration to a future intake or another eligible MFA training programme, subject to availability and written approval by MFA.
Any transfer or rescheduling request will be subject to MFA’s prevailing policy. Additional fees may apply if the new programme carries a higher programme fee.
Changes, Postponement or Cancellation by MFA
MFA reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the programme schedule, venue, speakers, trainers or course content when necessary.
If MFA postpones or cancels the programme due to unforeseen circumstances, participants may be offered the option to:
• Transfer their registration to a rescheduled or future session; or
• Receive a refund of the programme fee paid, where applicable.
MFA will make reasonable efforts to notify registered participants of any significant changes as early as possible.
Important Note
By submitting a registration and/or making payment for this programme, the participant and/or sponsoring company is deemed to have read, understood and agreed to the programme’s registration, payment, cancellation and refund terms and conditions.
