Enhanced Franchise Development Program (EFDP), which serves as a platform connecting Malaysian local franchisors with potential international investors. The program was initiated in 2015 and has garnered significant interest from foreign entrepreneurs.

In 2013, the services sector contributed 55.2% to GDP.
