Smart Reader Kids® held Family Fun Walk Bintulu helped to raise funds for the One Child One Hope Education Scholarship Programme (OCOH) for underprivileged children to obtain quality early childhood education on Sept 2 at Wisma Bintulu.
Organised in cooperation with its subsidiary, Aim Smart Academics Sdn Bhd and in partnership with Bintulu Development Authority (BDA), the fundraiser attracted more than 300 participants from its centres here namely Smart Reader Kids® Hock Lee Garden and Smart Reader Kids® Taman Putra Jaya.
The 4km walk aimed to inculcate good family values and encourage the community to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Invited guests were assistant general manager (Environmental Services) of Bintulu Development Authority Wan Ibrahim Wan Ali, executive director of Smart Reader® Worldwide Keefe Ong, and director of Development, Operations, Marketing & Publicity Department of Smart Reader® Worldwide Kalaichelvi Alagendra. Wan Ibrahim commended Smart Reader for raising funds for underprivileged children.
