Collaboration to elevate retailer’s customer experience

ALIBABA Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, has collaborated with consumer electronics chain Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd (Senheng) via S Ecosystem (M) Sdn Bhd to introduce the all-new S-Rewards Centre to bring a unique and distinctive customer experience.

The partnership will enable Senheng to use Alibaba Cloud’s platform and technology to further develop and grow towards building an ecosystem that benefits Senheng’s PlusOne members, partners and suppliers.

 Utilising Alibaba Cloud’s retail solution Terminus, Senheng will be able to streamline its business operations across both online and offline commerce channels by integrating all of them into one single online platform, creating an omni-channel approach for a distinctive customer experience.

By leveraging Alibaba Cloud’s services and technology, Senheng hopes to transform itself from being a consumer electronic retailer into a Super App ecosystem.

“In order to provide greater rewards and better customer experience, we are in the midst of launching the all-new S-Rewards Centre developed by S Ecosystem with Alibaba Cloud technology,” said Senheng executive chairman Lim Kim Heng.

“We are very proud to become one of the first in South-East Asia to implement the Terminus B2B2C Solution provided by Alibaba Cloud,” Lim said.

“We have seen the powerful solutions for scalability and the robustness by Alibaba Cloud Solutions and we are confident Alibaba Cloud and its Terminus team will provide support to Senheng towards the successful launch of the S-Rewards Centre and prepare for a digitalised world,” he added.

Alibaba Cloud’s Terminus solution allows Senheng customers to migrate their operations online and manage orders and deliveries efficiently on a single online platform.

It will also help retailers manage their loyalty programmes — in terms of acquisition, retention and engagement — more effectively.

Alibaba Cloud will also provide Senheng with the right upskilling and training to further assist the company’s platform ecosystem transformation programme.
